Winamac Athletics- Home of the Warriors

The Winamac Soccer team traveled to Argos and faced them in the sectional semi-final coming up short in the end 1-0. The Warriors had the host team scrambling with their aggressive play and good ball movement, but were unable to find the back of the next one the shot attempts they had. Their defense was also tough the whole game. There were numerous times that Argos got the ball close, but couldn't get a goal. The lone goal came on a penalty kick with 3:44 left in the game. The Warriors end their season with a record of 10 wins, 5 losses, and 2 ties.
