Winamac Athletics- Home of the Warriors

The Winamac Soccer team opened sectional play at Argos against Culver winning 11-1. The Warriors came out fast and played aggressively the whole match. They outscored Culver 6-1 in the first half before shutting them out in the second half while scoring 5 more goals. The Warriors played solid defense while moving the ball well and finding open teammates to keep the Culver defense off balance. Scoring goals for the Warriors were Sean Stark with 4 goals, Rylan Craig with 1 goal, Kannon Hoover with 1 goal, Jaybin Hines with 1 goal, Asher Jones with 1 goal, and Ike Kruzick with 1 goal (First career goal). Culver also had 1 goal that they scored on themselves. The Warriors next game will be at Argos as they play the host school in the semi-finals as they play the host school. Please come out and cheer on the Warriors and support them for all the hard work that they have put in this year. It would be great to see the stands packed with maroon in support of the team.
