The Lady Warrior softball team concluded the 2023 season with their awards night Thursday evening. Following a team dinner players were each recognized and team awards were given. Several players then received additional recognition at the conference and state levels. Varsity Team Awards: Offensive Leader Award – Emma Goodman, Outstanding Defense Award – Maggie Smith, Most Improved – Issy Decker, Heart of a Warrior – McKenzie Hinz Home Run Balls for Multiple Home Runs: Corrin Combs, Emma Goodman, and Makayla Werner Big Bat for Extra Base Hits: Emma Goodman HNAC Awards: Emma Goodman, McKenzie Hinz, and Maggie Smith. Makayla Werner received Honorable Mention SCAI Academic All-State: McKenzie Hinz SCAI Indiana All-Star: Emma Goodman Emma will attend the all-star banquet on June 23rd in Bloomington. She will also participate in the all-star classic on June 24th at IU where she will represent the Indiana North All-Stars. Coach Belcher’s Comments: Thank you to our parents, school, and fans for supporting our team this past season! We had a great season and a lot of fun.
