Winamac Athletics- Home of the Warriors

Winamac Varsity Soccer traveled to Westville and defeated them by a score of 9-0. The Warriors came out strong scoring 6 goals in the first half with their aggressive play with 4 different players scoring a goal. The also limited Westville from getting many scoring opportunities with their solid defensive effort. In the second half, the Warriors continued moving the ball well scoring 3 more goals and held Westville with very few shots again due to their sound defensive play. Hutch Martin got the shutout in goal while 5 different people scored goals in all. Scoring goals for the Warriors were Sean Stark with 3 goals, Kannon Hoover with 3 goals, Jaybin Hines with 1 goal, Justin Housinger with 1 goal and Ethan Kruzick with 1 goal. This was Ethan's first career varsity goal. The Warriors finish out their regular season on Thursday October 1st at home against Caston. This will be their senior night. Please come out and support the team as they look to finish off the regular season on a high note with another conference win.
