Winamac Athletics- Home of the Warriors

Winamac Varsity Soccer traveled to Lafayette Central Catholic and battled against a quick and physical team ending in a tie 3-3. The Warriors gave up the first goal of the game before scoring 2 goals of their own. Lafayette Central Catholic was able to sneak in behind the defense to score their second goal before getting another goal off a rebound of a penalty kick giving them the lead 3-2 at the half. The second half continued to be a back and forth battle with the Warriors scoring the only goal of the half to tie it up 3-3. There were several other chances that the Warriors couldn't capitalize on before time ran out. Sean Stark scored all 3 goals for the Warriors. Their next game is on Saturday September 27th at Rochester.
