Winamac Warriors Varsity Walks Away Victorious Over Rochester, 9-5

Winamac Warriors Varsity took home a 9-5 victory over Rochester on Monday. McKenzie Hinz pitched Winamac Warriors Varsity to victory. Hinz lasted seven innings, allowing ten hits and five runs while striking out seven and walking one. Mia Howdeshell took the loss for Rochester. The bulldog went four and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking zero. Winamac Warriors Varsity launched one home run on the day. Corrin Combs had a long ball in the fifth inning. Winamac Warriors Varsity tallied ten hits. Isabelle Decker, Maggie Smith, Emma Goodman, and Combs all managed multiple hits for Winamac Warriors Varsity. Combs, Goodman, Smith, and Decker each managed two hits to lead Winamac Warriors Varsity. Rochester collected ten hits. Kylie Coleman, Kallie Watson, and Sydney Haughs each managed multiple hits for Rochester. Coleman went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Rochester in hits.
