McKenzie Hinz had all the right stuff on Thursday for Winamac Warriors Varsity, allowing zero runs and besting Culver Community by a score of 13-0 Emma Goodman led Winamac Warriors Varsity to victory by driving in five runs. Goodman went 3-for-4 at the plate. Goodman drove in runs on a home run in the first and a single in the third. Winamac Warriors Varsity got things moving in the first inning. Goodman drove in three when Goodman homered. One bright spot for Culver Community was a single by #4 in the second inning. Hinz toed the rubber for Winamac Warriors Varsity. The bulldog allowed three hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking one. #14 was on the rubber for Culver Community. The pitcher lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing 12 hits and ten runs while walking zero. #17 threw one and one-third innings in relief. Winamac Warriors Varsity tallied one home run on the day. Goodman had a long ball in the first inning. Winamac Warriors Varsity tallied 14 hits in the game. Goodman, Isabelle Decker, Maggie Smith, and Makayla Werner each managed multiple hits for Winamac Warriors Varsity. Goodman led Winamac Warriors Varsity with three hits in four at bats.
