With Hinz On The Mound, Winamac Warriors Varsity Shuts Out North Judson-San Pierre

McKenzie Hinz didn't allow a single run as Winamac Warriors Varsity defeated North Judson-San Pierre 3-0 on Saturday. Hinz allowed just two hits. The pitching was strong on both sides. Hinz struck out 12, while Molly Madsen sat down eight. A single by Sophie Chaffins in the first inning was a positive for North Judson-San Pierre. Hinz earned the victory in the circle for Winamac Warriors Varsity. Hinz went seven innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out 12 and walking zero. Madsen took the loss for North Judson-San Pierre. The hurler allowed four hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one. Winamac Warriors Varsity totaled four hits in the game. Maggie Smith and Corrin Combs all had multiple hits for Winamac Warriors Varsity. Combs and Smith each collected two hits to lead Winamac Warriors Varsity. Winamac Warriors Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field.
