Varsity vs Rensselaer (233 - 214) Loss The Winamac Lady Warriors golf team hit the road last Thursday but came up short against a strong Rensselaer squad, falling 214–233 in a tough matchup on unfamiliar greens. Senior Hunter Hines led the Lady Warriors with a team-best score of 52. She was followed by solid efforts from Cady Jones, Brianna Patton, Brea Conley, and Kandace Kroft, who all contributed to the team total. Despite their best efforts, the Lady Warriors struggled on the greens, with putting proving to be a key challenge throughout the round. The team hopes to turn things around quickly as they return to familiar territory. Winamac will look to bounce back on Monday when they host Westville in what promises to be a competitive home matchup.
