The Winamac cross country teams continued their strong start to the season at Saturday’s Caston Invitational, where they combined for 9 personal bests against a deep field. The boys’ top-5 finish and the girls’ front-running duo of Wegner and Kroft show the potential for both squads to climb higher as the state tournament portion of the schedule approaches. The third meet of the year proved the Warriors are building depth, sharpening their packs, and setting themselves up for a strong push through the middle of the season.
