Winamac Volleyball traveled to Walton on Tuesday for their first regular season game against the Lady Kings. The Junior Varsity started things off with a strong win in set 1 with a score of 25-16. A hard fought battled continued for the next two sets, ultimately ending with the Kings taking the win at 25-14 and 15-11. Freshmen Kylie Fisher and Jordan Compton made their first varsity debut on the road and helping the Warriors out defensively. Senior Mylie Foster led the Warriors in kills with 4, while sophomore Ava Malchow followed with 3. Senior Brooke Rausch led the defense with 11 digs, while Malchow and Grace Roth each added 8 to an impressive defensive show by Winamac. Junior Jaelyn Huddleston had 3 aces and 6 assists. Winamac is back on the road Thursday against Rensselaer at 6:30 EST.
