Varsity vs Demotte Christian (6 - 2) Win The Winamac boys golf team closed out their regular season in style, defeating DeMotte Christian in their first-ever match play event. Rising to the occasion, the Warriors embraced the new format with confidence and composure. Junior Logan Fredel set the tone early by securing the team’s first point, igniting a strong performance across the board. Freshman Jayden Beckner delivered a standout showing, clinching his match with an impressive 6 & 3 victory. Also contributing to the team’s success were Rylan Craig, Parker Zeider, and Talen Garner. Brendan Hines sealed the deal with a clutch par putt on the final hole, locking in his point and capping off the team’s dominant outing. With momentum on their side, the Warriors now set their sights on sectionals this Friday, eager to carry their winning energy into postseason play.
