Sam Perry will continue her outstanding academic and athletic career 4 more years while playing softball for Ancilla College. What made you choose Ancilla College? “Probably the tightknit community and the way they were just really connected” What is your favorite memory of softball while participating as a student-athlete at Winamac? “There is so many and it switches every time, we do so much as a team and it is just an enjoyable experience” Was playing a collegiate sport something that you always wanted to do? “No, it was actually just in the moment, I don't want to lose softball and I decided to play” Who were people along the way that helped you achieve this goal? “I would say my coaches and my family, the whole team made it worth while” What would you say to other student-athletes who are on the fence about wanting to play softball? “It's a family sport and we are really connected and it very enjoyable and you will meet a lot of people that you never knew.”
