Winamac Athletics- WARRIOR MENTALITY

Addison Allen is signing with the Indiana Tech Warriors to continue his academic and athletic career for their baseball program. What made you choose Indiana Tech? "It's far enough from home that I'm away from everything but close enough to where I can still come back. Their head coach is really straight forward and honest, the campus is really nice and the baseball facilities are practically brand new" What is your favorite memory of playing sports while participating as a student-athlete at Winamac? "Winning the sectional in walk off fashion my freshman year" Was playing a collegiate sport something that you always wanted to do? "Yes, I've always just had a love for the game and sports. Getting invited to the North/South Series Showcase, I realized that this was a real possibility" Who were people along the way that helped you achieve this goal? "My family, coaches, my teammates and myself" What would you say to Winamac students who are on the fence about wanting to join baseball in high school? "You only get to play sports for 4 years in high school and you won't lose anything by playing"
