Winamac Athletics- WARRIOR MENTALITY

The Winamac Warrior wrestling team wrestled in the 2-Day Super dual event at Lafayette Jeff. Winamac posted a 9-1 record with wins over North Newton, Clinton Central, Tri West, West Lafayette,Central Catholic, Seeger,Calumet, Lafayette Jeff and Kokomo. Their only loss was to top ranked Adams Central. Their season dual record now stands at 21-2.The Warriors finished 9-1 moving their team record to 21-2! Talen Garner finished the event at a perfect 10-0. Austin Attinger notched his 100th career Win with a pin over Clinton Central. Finishing 9-1 were; Tearson Wolford, Austin Attinger, Asher Jones, Rian Shell and Ryan Bedwell. The "Warriors of the Meet" were Talen Garner and Austin Attinger. Both of these seniors pace the team and wins and provide great leadership to this young team.
