Winamac Athletics- WARRIOR MENTALITY

The Winamac Warriors entered this year's Twin Lakes Invitational with 4 starters out and big shoes to fill from last year, but came out and battled like seasoned veterans in their first tournament of the season. Winamac placed everyone wrestling today except for two to claim fifth place on the day. Eli Matthews and Talen Garner made it to the championship round and both finished second. Austin Attinger was third, Eli Wildermuth 4th, Ryan Bedwell, DJ Depke, and Garron Knoth 5th on the day, Cooper Kopka and Charles Cottrell 8th "Warrior of the Meet" was Garron Knoth. Garron worked hard to cut weight to move down to 160, and clawed his way to a 5th place finish, going 4-1 on the day. He is a great leader for his younger teammates.
