Lady Warrior Basketball Drops Road Game to Westville

The girls varsity basketball team traveled to Westville Thursday night and lost 57-35. The game was very competitive in the 1st half, but the Lady Blackhawks broke away with a 17-5 run in the 3rd quarter. The Lady Warriors battled for the entire 32 minutes, and this will end up being a positive experience to build on. Kandace Kroft led the Lady Warriors with 14 points, 4 assists, and 5 deflections/steals. Sadie Popejoy added 9 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 7 deflections/steals. The team's record is now 1-1 and they return home to play North Newton on Tuesday night at 7pm.
