Winamac Athletics- WARRIOR MENTALITY

The Winamac Warriors XC teams travelled to Rensselaer for the IHSAA Cross Country Sectionals. The first round of 3 in the state tournament. Our lady's team and 2 individual boys were able to qualify to the Regional at New Prairie. Kudos to Kadence Hoover (7th), Avery Wegner (14th), Kandace Kroft (18th), Claire Goodman (32nd), Maddy Goodman (55th), Mershai Loehmer (61st) and Jersey Himes (66th). Our individually qualifying men were, Logan Fredel (4th) and Dylan Guilford (18th). Our team will need to be in the top 5 to qualify for the state finals in Terre Haute. Individuals will need to be in the top 15 runners not on a qualifying team to move on. Congrats to these runners!
