Winamac Athletics- WARRIOR MENTALITY

The Lady Warriors basketball teams dropped a pair of games to the Lady Bombers on Thursday night. The JV came up short against a Rensselaer JV squad that featured multiple varsity starters 40-20. Cyaira Wolford and Lauren Bruce each scored 6 points. The JV is now 6-4. The Varsity battled for 4 quarters but lost 58-40. Kandace Kroft led the Lady Warriors with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Emma Goodman continued her great play this week with 12 points. The Varsity drops to 1-9. Both teams get a well-deserved break from games for a few days. The JV is back in action Thursday night at LaVille with the JV boys in a doubleheader, while the Varsity hosts LaVille in a Varsity boy-girl doubleheader next Friday night.
