Boys Basketball at Twin Lakes

The Winamac Warriors basketball team opened the season on the road at Twin Lakes on Tuesday night. The JV won a hard fought battle with the Indians by 4, however the varsity went cold from the field and fell to the Indians 50-35. Jayse Bentle lead the Warriors with 13 points and Michael Loehmer chipped in 10 to go along with 4 rebounds and 3 assists. The Warriors are back in action Saturday afternoon as they battle North Newton at Morocco elementary school. The JV game tips off at 1:00 and the varsity will follow.
