Winamac Athletics- WARRIOR MENTALITY

The Winamac Varsity Football Team was back in action at home Friday night against Culver. The Warriors defeated the Cavaliers 22-14. Winamac was led offensively by Tearson Wolford, who had 113 yards rushing on 14 carries. Louis Rugg had a 29 yard touchdown reception from Xavier Adriano. Adriano also scored on a touchdown run. Defensively, the Warriors were led by Talen Garner, who had 11 tackles and 9 assists. Wolford added 3 tackles, 8 assists, 1 fumble recovery, and an interception return for a touchdown. Hayden Taylor had 6 tackles and an interception, and Ethan Burgess contributed 6 tackles, 5 assists, and a fumble recovery. Winamac will be home next Friday to take on the Triton Trojans for homecoming.
