Winamac came to do work at the Caston Invite this weekend. The boy's team came home with the team title and the girl's team was 2nd after having a fantastic showing! The girl’s race produced 3 medalist in the top 10 with Kadence Hoover 5th cutting a minute off last year’s time, Avery Wegner 7th also cutting a minute off of last year’s time and Kandace Kroft 10th who cut 15 sec off last year’s time. Claire Goodman was 15th, nearly running a PR, Maddy Goodman was 39th with a personal best, Bordy Goodman was 53rd with a personal best and Mershai Loehmer 61st with a personal best. In the boy’s race, Winamac had 2 medalist in the top 10 with Logan Fredel in 3rd place having cut over 40 secs off of last years time, Dylan Guilford was 7th with a personal best, Nathan Pierzchalski was 11th having ran faster than last year, Kannon Hoover was 26th with a personal best, Joel Showley was 39th with a personal best and Braylen Becker was 72nd with a personal best. With this many PR’s it goes without saying that the warriors really put themselves out there and had great races! They will go to the Maconaquah Invite next Saturday.
