Winamac Athletics

The Winamac Girls Cross Country team advances to the Semi State meet with a 4th place team finish at eh CMA regional race. The girls raced in a tight group to earn their advancing 4th place finish. Maggie Smith (26th), Kadence Hoover (27th), and Kandace Kroft (28th) we the first group of girls across the finish line. They were followed closely by Kelsey Wegner (31st), and Avery Wegner (32nd). Ariana Gualajara (42nd) and Claire Goodman (73rd) finished up for the girls with good races. Kolbey Wegner advances to the semi-state race at New Prairie with a 7th place overall finish at the regional race at Culver Academy. Kolbey and Logan Fredel raced in the regional race on the Culver course. Kolbey finished 7th overall and Logan placed 50th.
