Winamac Athletics- WARRIOR MENTALITY

Winamac's Varsity Football team traveled to Caston on Friday and picked up their second win of the season, beating the Comets 33-12. Cash Roth was 5-10 for 107 yards with 2 touchdown passes and also scored on a one yard touchdown run. Michael Loehmer rushed for 81 yards. Jadon Jones had two receptions for 79 yards and 1 touchdown, and Jayse Bentle had a touchdown reception of 14 yards. Brody Wall also scored on a six yard touchdown run. Defensively, Max Gearhart had a fumble return for a touchdown and an interception. Also playing well defensively were Zayne Bell and Talen Garner. The Warriors next play at Triton to finish up the regular season.
