The Warriors hosted their annual Grandparent's Night last night and not only did grandparents get recognized, they got to witness a great win on the part of their Warriors. The Winamac Lady Warriors were no match for the Argos Dragons last night with final scores of 25-7, 25-16 and 25-22. Winamac held the lead for the entire first set, stringing together several big runs of serves - something they've been trying for all season. The Warriors also did a great job of adjusting to line up changes and rotation switches throughout sets 2 and 3. "I wish we could have been a little more aggressive with the freeball passes we kept getting, but all in all, we earned our points last night with some great serving and great net play." Scoreboard leaders last night included McKenzie Hinz with 11 kills, 2 blocks and 11 aces. Raegan Kasten with 6 aces and 4 digs. Piper Link had 5 kills and an ace, while Linzy Walters and Lauren Fredel added 9 and 7 assists, respectively. Brooke Rausch contributed 4 kills at the net to round out the Warriors front row. The Lady Warriors are back in action on the road Thursday at Rochester.
