The Winamac Boys golf team showcased their skill and determination by successfully defending their Hoosier North Athletic Conference (HNAC) title, clinching the 2024 tournament in a nail-biting finish. Edging out rivals Triton and Pioneer by a mere three shots, the team demonstrated the depth of their talent and the strength of their resolve. Talen Garner and Noah Garner, with their exceptional performances, earned all-conference honors, a testament to their hard work and dedication to the sport. Complementing the Garners' achievements, Brendan Hines and Logan Fredel received honorable mentions, highlighting their significant contributions to the team's success. Rounding out the team was Cooper Fulmer who just missed honorable mention but did finish with his season best round. This victory not only celebrates their individual accolades but also underscores the cohesive teamwork and strategic play.
