Warriors Fall to Comets on the Road

By Heather Kasten | Sep 9, 2022 9:32 AM

The Lady Warriors traveled to Caston Thursday night for their third conference game of the season where Winamac struggled for the second night in a row with service receptions and hitting errors. The wavering Warriors fell in three sets, 25-9, 25-13, 25-12. "Our energy is low right now. We're stuck in the mindset of 'we're going to lose' and we have to fight our way out. When we decide to swing like we mean it and communicate with confidence, we're a completely different team. We have to match our energy from our home tournament or even last Saturday at KV. Those are the games we've come out on top and it was all because of our energy." quoted Coach Kasten. Some bright spots on the night were 8 kills by McKenzie Hinz, 2 aces each from Hailey Attinger and Raegan Kasten and 6 digs by Ally Campbell. The Lady Warriors travel to LaVille on Monday to try and top a conference team this season. Game time is 6:00.
