Winamac Athletics

The girls basketball jv & varsity teams traveled to Rensselaer Thursday night and lost a pair of games. The varsity ran into a 9-0 Rensselaer squad and struggled from the tip to the finish, losing 60-24. Piper Link had 9 points and 7 rebounds. Kandace Kroft also scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. The varsity records moves to 6-4. The jv dropped a 2 quarter contest to the Lady Bombers 12-10. Cyaira Wolford led in scoring with 4. The jv record drops to 4-4. Both teams get a much needed break. The jv hosts LaVille in a boy/girl doubleheader on Thursday, December 7th at 6pm. The varsity travels to LaVille on Friday, December 8th in another boy/girl doubleheader at 6pm.
