Winamac Athletics

Winamac girls varsity basketball traveled to Rochester Saturday night and downed the Zebras 43-33. Piper Link was outstanding with 14 points and11 rebounds. She was also 6 for 8 from the free throw line in the 4th quarter. Sadie Popejoy added 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 deflections/steals. Kandace Kroft added 8 points and was a perfect 4 for 4 from the free throw line in the 4th quarter. The Lady Warriors are 5-3, which surpasses its win total from all of last year. Next up is another rivalry game, at home against West Central on Tuesday night. JV tips off at 6pm and it will be a 2 quarter game.
