Winamac Athletics- Home of the Warriors

The Winamac Soccer team traveled to Caston to finish out their regular season defeating the Comets 3-0. The Warrior defense played well all night limiting the shot attempts for Caston and helping to win possession of the ball back several times. The offense did well moving the ball and finding open space in the Caston defense to create scoring opportunities. Sean Stark scored 2 goals for the Warriors while Kannon Hoover scored 1 goal. Rylan Craig, Liam Burton, and Jaybin Hines all had an assist. Hutch Martin had 3 saves in goal and Logan Schambers had 4 saves after having to take over goalie duties in the 2nd half. The Warriors finish the regular season with a record of 7 wins, 3 losses, and 2 ties. They placed 2nd in the conference behind Argos. They will start their postseason journey on Wednesday October 7th at 5PM when they face Caston again. The sectional is being hosted by Argos. Please come out and support this team.
