Winamac Athletics- Home of the Warriors

The Winamac Varsity soccer team traveled to Culver and defeated them 3-0. The Warriors defense was strong and helped keep Culver from getting clean shots on the goal along with hustling to win possession. The Winamac offense started strong as well pushing the ball up the field from the very first whistle. They were able to score 2 goals in the first half before scoring 1 more in the 2nd half off a corner kick to close out the scoring. The Warriors had several other opportunities to increase their lead, but they were not able to capitalize. Jaybin Hines had 2 goals for the Warriors while Sean Stark had 1 along with an assist. Hutch Martin had 8 saves. Winamac's next game is at Oregon Davis on 9/29 at 5:30.
