Winamac Athletics- Home of the Warriors

The Winamac Varsity soccer team hosted Rensselaer and battled them to a 4 - 4 tie. This was a back and forth game where the visiting team scored first and held a 2 goal lead before the Warriors battled back to get 3 goals and grab the lead. The Warriors lead did not last long though as Rensselaer was able to find the back of the net 2 more times to regain the lead. Winamac was able to tie the game again late in the game but was not able to score another goal despite several opportunities. Scoring for the Warriors were Sean Stark with 2 goals, along with Asher Jones and Kannon Hoover with 1 goal each. Sean Stark and Kannon Hoover both had 2 assists. The Warriors next game is on Thursday September 17th when they travel to Culver for a 6:00 game.
