Runners Show Grit at Tim Adams Invitational

The cross country team made strong strides at the Tim Adams Invite (KV), with runners setting new personal records and matching career bests across the board. The girls' squad earned 10th place overall, while the boys finished 11th. Girls Division: Three New PRs Lead the Squad Jillian Burns spearheaded the girls' team, placing 53rd overall and setting a brand-new personal record with a time of 26:25. Brooklynn Jachim delivered a strong performance behind her, crossing as the team's second finisher in 27:49 (67th place). Katelyn Burgess logged a 30:46 finish to take 81st, while Kallie Kasten notched a new PR, stopping the clock at 31:34 (83rd place). Jaelyn Huddleston rounded out the squad with her own personal best time of 39:26. Boys Division: Bonnell Sets New Benchmark Brody Bonnell set the pace for the boys, taking 12th overall and setting a new personal record of 18:19. Elisha Burns and Evan Burgess ran close together, placing 79th (21:36) and 80th (21:55), respectively. Ethan Showley crossed shortly after in 21:57 for 82nd place. Austin Pratt and Braylen Becker packed up through the finish, taking 92nd (22:32) and 93rd (22:34). Joel Showley completed the varsity scoring group with a 23:11 finish (101st place). With four new personal bests set at KV, the runners are carrying solid momentum into mid-season training. Continued pack running and aggressive middle miles will be key focus areas as the squad prepares for the next meet.
