Winamac Squad Runs Strong at the Jacob Graf Memorial Invitational

LOGANSPORT, IN — High school cross country runners competed at the Jacob Graf Memorial Invitational at Logansport High School. Facing a competitive field, both the boys' and girls' squads put up solid efforts across the board. Girls' Race Recap The girls' team posted a 13th-place team finish, led by Jillian Burns, who crossed the line in 64th place with a team-best time of 27:22. Brooklynn Jachim finished second for the squad, taking 75th overall in 28:52, followed closely by Katelyn Burgess in 78th place with a time of 29:14. Kallie Kasten secured 95th place in 31:58, and Jaelyn Huddleston rounded out the team's scoring, completing the course in 40:55. Boys' Race Recap The boys' squad finished 16th overall in the team standings, anchored by a standout performance from Brody Bonnell. Bonnell claimed a top-20 individual finish, crossing the line 17th overall in 18:22. Ethan Showley was the next finisher for the boys, taking 96th place in 21:38. Austin Pratt and Evan Burgess packed up tightly to finish close behind, with Pratt placing 104th in 21:54 and Burgess taking 108th in 22:15. Braylen Becker added a 105th-place finish with a time of 22:21, while Joel Showley completed the lineup in a time of 25:06.
