Blue Jays Over Warriors at The Nest

By Heather Kasten | Oct 3, 2023 7:13 AM

Winamac traveled to North Judson last night for their final HNAC match up of the season. While it wasn't the outcome the Warriors wanted, there were still bright spots along the way. "Our passing on serve-receive was as good as it's been all season. We read the ball well on defense and got a lot of touches on the block. We just got stuck on offense trying to put the ball down." reflected Coach Kasten. The night ended in an 0-3 drop by the Warriors (14-25, 13-25, 17-25). Piper Link and Kaelyn O'Connor both landed 4 kills and a block with Link tacking on 6 digs. Ally Campbell and Maggie Keller led on defense with 9 digs and Brooke Rausch added another 8 with her 3 kills. Marissa Iverson had 3 kills and 3 blocks, while Raegan Kasten led in service-receptions with 9. The Warriors will end their regular season on Thursday at home against Logansport for senior night.
