Winamac Athletics- Home of the Warriors

The Winamac Varsity Soccer team traveled to Tippy Valley to open their season. The host Vikings score the first 2 goals of the game before the Warriors got their offense going getting a goals to end the first half. Starting the 2nd half down 2-1, the Warriors stepped up their aggressiveness and had a stout defense out scoring the Vikings 3-0 in the second half. This was a good way to open the season against a physical Tippy Valley team. Sean Stark scored all 4 goals for the Warriors with Koen Knor having 1 assist. The Warriors next game is Monday August 24th when they travel to Kankakee Valley.
