Winamac Athletics

The Winamac Girls XC Team had a fantastic day. The girls team walked away with the conference title. All of the girls raced really well. Maggie Smith led the team with a 1st place individual finish and a new school record! The new record time is 19:31.44. This beats the record held by Kate Collins with a time of 19:34. The rest of the team wasn’t far behind Maggie with all 7 members of the team earning a spot on the awards podium with top 15 finishes. Racing for girls were: Maggie Smith - 1st - All Conference Kadence Hoover - 4th - All Conference Kelsey Wegner - 5th - All Conference Kandace Kroft - 6th - All Conference Avery Wegner - 8th - All Conference Claire Goodman - 9th - All Conference Lily Bennett - 15th - All Conference Honorable Mention
