Winamac Athletics

The Lady Warriors hosted Rochester last night. The Warriors started out laser focused, leading most of set one until the first tie at 21-21. Playing most of the set without unforced errors gave the Warriors the advantage early, but two net violations and two service reception errors put the Zebra's ahead of Winamac 22-25 at the end of the set. The magic stopped for a while with the second set ending in a tough 11-25 loss after a string of inaccurate passes. The Warriors climbed out of the hole for set 3 and made the Zebras earn their stripes, but eventually falling in the third (12-25) Marissa Iverson had a game high of 6 kills and 4 blocks, tying Brooke Rausch's kills for the night. Piper Link tacked on 4 kills and Ally Campbell added 15 digs.
