The Lady Warriors added to the win column last night on the road at Argos. The Warriors had a slow start, missing 5 serves and several miscommunications on serve-receive. After using both timeouts, they were able to pull out set one with a 25-23 win. After regrouping between sets and making a few serving adjustments, the Warriors came out strong and took set two 25-3. Set three was just as strong, keeping the Dragons in single digits at 25-9. Sophomore Audrey Dickinson made an appearance on the varsity floor during sets two and three last night. She rattled off 10 points for the Warriors from behind the service line, with 6 of those being aces. Kaelyn O'Connor had a similar showing, sending over 14 points in a row during set 3, putting the Warriors up 14-0 from the get-go. O'Connor ended the night with 5 aces. Other stat board leaders for the night were Ally Campbell and Maggie Keller with 5 digs a piece, Piper Link with 6 kills and 6 digs and Brooke Rausch with 4 kills and 3 digs. Marissa Iverson ended the night with a block and 3 kills, while Linzy Walters dished out 16 assists and Raegan Kasten had an ace and 5 digs. The Warriors will play Rochester on Thursday at home for their annual Block Out Cancer Night, starting at 6:00. All donations and proceeds from the basket raffles will benefit the American Cancer Society.
