Varsity vs North Newton (7 - 6) Win The Warriors came from behind to win a thriller at North Newton. Down 6-1 after four innings, the Warriors scored three in the sixth and three in the seventh to win it 7-6. Winamac scored one in the sixth before Corinne Ulerick hit a two-run home run to cut the lead to two. Then Winamac scored 3 more in the seventh with hits from Makayla Werner, Grace Roth, Maggie Keller, and Adrianna Hall to take a one-run lead. The defense and pitching held in the bottom of the seventh to get the win. Adrianna Hall went 3 for 4 with two RBI's. Maggie Keller added two hits and two RBI's. Brooke Rausch added a double and scored two runs. Rausch got the start and went 3.2 innings, 6 runs, 3 walks, and 3 strikeouts. Hall finished with 3.1 innings, 0 runs, 2 walks, and 7 strikeouts.
