Winamac Athletics- Home of the Warriors

On Thursday, April 10 the Winamac boys Middle School track team revved up their engines for another season by defeating Twin Lakes at Monticello 63.5-26.5. The Warriors swept two events and won 7 events to cruise to the victory. They were led by "Warrior of the Meet" Brody Bonnell who won the 1600 m, 800 m and was part of the winning 1600 meter relay team. Champions on the night: Messer Loehmer-High Jump, Brantley Doty-Discus, Walker Desabatine-400meter, Long Jump, Wamsley, Bonnell, Desabatine, Depoy-1600 meter relay. "Teamate of the Meet" was Messer Loehmer. He works hard in practice, encourages his teamates and is a great leader! Winamac is 1-0 on the season.
