Kaden Runk is signing with Bethel University to continue his academic and athletic career to play baseball and study business. What made you choose Bethel University? "I liked the campus a lot, I like how the coaches treat people and overall I felt welcomed there" What is your favorite memory of playing sports while participating as a student-athlete at Winamac? " Beating West Central my junior year" Was playing a collegiate sport something that you always wanted to do? "Yes, I've always loved playing baseball and I always wanted to get to the next level. I went on a visit to their campus and I reached out to their coaches, met up with them, had a great conversation with them and they said they'd keep in touch." Who were people along the way that helped you achieve this goal? "My family, coaches, and my teammates. Just pushing me to get better everyday." What would you say to Winamac students who are on the fence about wanting to join baseball in high school? "I would say do it, I've never had a bad year, the coaches are great. We work hard and we also have a lot of fun."
