Winamac made the long haul to Rensselaer last night to take on the Bombers in a tough 3 set loss (8-25, 16-25, 12-25). The Warriors struggled to find a rhythm on serve receive, leading to an off-kilter offense for most of the night. With the second set of the match being the best and most put together, the Lady Warriors were able to string points together to take the lead at 11-10, coming back from a 4-10 deficit. The set continued point for point for the next five, when Brodie Radke was able to rattle off a string of 6, putting the Warriors back in a serve-receive hole. Ending the night with 3 kills, 4 digs and an ace was Ally Campbell, while Piper Link and Kaelyn O'Conner each added an ace and block. Linzy Walters walked away with 9 assists and Marissa Iverson with 2 blocks. The Warriors travel to North Miami for the annual Tomahawk Tournament tomorrow, starting at 9:00 AM.
